about me
I was introduced to yoga in seventh grade as a part of my school’s fitness program (I'm from LA). I did gymnastics so the poses came easy, but mindfulness and compassion was something I had to learn the hard way.
My yoga practice helped me confront the parts of myself that I rejected and embrace them with compassion. I experienced a lot of anxiety, I was in toxic relationships and didn’t really like myself to be honest. Feeling safe on my mat made it easy to practice consistently and I began to use yoga as a form of creative expression.
Practicing at home during covid took my relationship with yoga to another level. I went through heartbreak and grief and yoga was the channel through which I healed myself. After getting my teaching certification, I started doing things that used to scare me like teaching in Bali, and starting an online community. Yoga gave me the tools I needed to heal myself and reach my fullest potential.
